Ms. Tokiwa T Smith is a chemical engineer with over 20 years of cross-sector experience in academia, government, and nonprofit. She is the Principal of Tokiwa T. Smith Consulting, Founder and Executive Director of Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc and Founder of the Sista Nonprofit Network. Having received several honors and awards, she is a recognized leader and strategist in equity-focused initiatives and STEM workforce development. Ms. Smith is a published author and sought-out contributor on topics including Black girls and women, equity-focused initiatives, nonprofit leadership, and STEM workforce development. She has given keynote speeches, moderated and participated in panel discussions and led fireside chats for several organizations.
