The Soap and Water Tour, a collaboration between IKAM Productions and Tokiwa T. Smith Consulting, is a multi-city tour to raise awareness about school dress code policies and their impact on Black girls. The tour features a public screening of Clothed Minds, a documentary written and produced by Carletta S. Hurt, followed by a panel discussion with Black girls, parents and educators. The film shared the stories of Black girls in DC; however, this is an issue that impacts Black girls in communities all over the world.
If you are interested in bringing the tour to your city, please email Ms. Tokiwa T. Smith at tokiwa@tokiwatsmith.com
